Raised in a small town in Alabama, Luke grew up listening to everything from southern rock and blues to alternative and punk music. Greatly influenced by the southern acoustic style blues music that was around the area at the time Luke picked up his first acoustic guitar and used it learned to sing define his gritty yet very appealling bluesy voice.

Doug Mikula
Lead Guitar
Guitarist Doug Mikula found his musical calling at the age of twelve. As a natural, Doug’s guitar chops have been described as “shredding steel into little bits of musical, melodic nuggets.” Influenced by guitarist such as Jimi Hendrix, Joe Satriani, Steve Vai, and other greats guitarists Doug sound an groove has become a has staple of the Woodfish sound.

Growing up on the jersey shore Steve's love for music started at a young age. Give a bass guitar as gift for his 17th birthday Steve fell in love with the deep tone and driving force that the bass created. As time pass Steve became obsesed with trying to emulate the techigues of his favorite guitar playerson the bass. Eventually he filtered out his own style which he tries to speak through in every Woodfish song.

Growing up on the Jersey Shore and listening to bands like the Boss or Southside Johnny and the Asbury Jukes, local music has become his love. Ian's currently studying music at University of the Arts in Philadelphia for a degree in Jazz Performance and hopes to be seen playing with Woodfish a lot in the future.
